Becoming a parent was a soft reset — a moment that made me re-evaluate the architecture of the tech ecosystem I’ve been wired into for nearly twenty years. It pushed me to define stricter access controls around personal privacy, not just for myself, but for the digital footprints of those who come after us.
I find myself nostalgically booting up the mindset of a different era — a time when the internet felt like a frontier, not a marketplace. Alongside a core cluster of equally curious minds, I’m building a parallel framework: a human-centric protocol for how we develop, display, and distribute technology. One where dignity isn’t an afterthought, but the core spec — and where our most personal data isn’t just another variable to be harvested.
I’m a woman with two wonderful children, coming from the field of education and landing in a newly founded tech company.
I recognize that, in one way or another, we are all now ‘connected’ to technology — something that becomes evident every day through all aspects of our lives.
I believe that science and technology are the two fundamental pillars on which humanity must rely in order for civilization and its values to continue evolving.
My involvement in Darkbit is largely driven by the great challenge it sets: to offer high-level services with absolute respect for the human being behind the word ‘customer’.
What can I say about myself?
…this is my first reaction when I have to give a brief self-introduction.
A quick and concise answer is that as a graphic + web designer, I prefer my works to introduce me instead of myself.
With Darkbit, from its inception until today, our shared aesthetic and values have created a perfect match (without lacking the disagreements typical of any couple’s daily life). Darkbit is the fruit of our journey together – our technological baby, which I hope you will love as much as we do.
*The so-called dark-bits, in essence, are transparent and always inspire me!
